You may be able to relocate to a part of the world where you can avoid cold weather, but there is no place you can move to escape spiritual winter. When your heart is cold toward Christ, when your prayers bounce back off the ceiling at you, and you can’t find God, why continue to hold on to Him?

Revenge, It’s Too Cold

It has been said, “Revenge is a dish best served cold.” Jesus makes it clear revenge should not even be prepared, much less served. This morning’s passage is another example of Jesus correcting how God’s word was misused by teachers of the law, and unfortunately, it is still happening today.
