Luke 9:37-43a
The objective of Satan can be summed up in verse 39. His desire is to seize (take you), convulse (deal violently with you), shatter (destroy you), and hardly ever leave you (that is why we talk of habitual sin).
Knowing this is Satan’s objective, we must be like the man who cries out to Jesus. He doesn’t care about the crowds. He doesn’t care what others think. He wants healing from Christ.
